These 15 acres of pristine lake were stocked in the late 1960s with a traditional UK strain of both common and mirror carp.
In the 1980s, Stonelake was a syndicate water producing specimen fish up to 32lbs. The vast majority of fish have never been caught or seen a hook; in modern carp fishing, these opportunities are few and far between. The owners live on site and regularly see examples of fish well over 30lbs, so a new lake record is possible at any time.
Please note: due to the residence, the total fishing area available is 5.3 acres, please refer to the lake map for information on boundaries.
